About Me
Hi! My name is Katy MacManus and I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. I am a recent graduate from Texas A&M University, where I acquired a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Sciences with certifications in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, and Professional Event Management. I have also gained business knowledge through the acquisition of a Business Minor.

Aggie Royals
Aggie Royals is a women's organization at Texas A&M University with a mission to develop strong leaders who embody and uphold the values of Aggie Royals and Texas A&M University through our three pillars: service, commitment, and integrity.
Aggie Royals was my home for three years at Texas A&M University and gave me the opportunity to network with amazing women at Texas A&M. Furthermore, I was able to serve my organization through my leadership position as Social Chair. In my position, I was tasked with planning and implementing all social events, communicating and coordinating with other organizations at Texas A&M, and serving as the face of my organization. Serving as Social Chair has taught me how to deal with tough situations, how to communicate effectively across different committees, and, above all, how to work efficiently with a team.
